Literature Text

I remember when we were kids
Talks of summer days
And those nights short lived.

You told me you'd teach me
How to Swim into the deep
       And how to breathe.

          How you breathe

The sun goes down
I can see it just beyond your fence

With eyes focused
And
You're calm as you tell me to
hold my breath

Just a bit longer...

"And you're no better at swimming
Then you were in the beginning
But you come over at night
and we practice
all the breathing..."
Not really finished, however it kind of reminds me of the poem I had just posted.
This is not really new, it is also a few months old (just like the last).

I was really into Lorde's No Better in December, so I quick wrote this out at work.

This is just a memory that could have been, but like most, it never turns out.
