I can smell the basil leaves
- from the kitchen You once stood in. The hum of your voice,
- as it fills the air with Your lullaby. With The sweet kiss
- from Your lips
- the dishes are left undone.

I found this in my old jacket pocket.
I couldn't bring myself to just toss it away, so I fixed it up just a tad..although it does not seem finished I'm adding it here just in case I forget.
I do not know if I want to change the "The" to "A"- sweet kiss..
I wanted it to be more...of a singled out kiss, just the "right" one.

I don't really think you need to change anything. I also think it seems finished to me. I prefer poetry to leave me "hanging" a little, or when it captures that *one* moment. Great work.
